While the street drive was fun, the cars really came alive on the track. The F Sport proved to be nimble and rewarding, but its brakes began to fade after a couple hours of track time. The RC F performed like it was bred for the track. It leaned just enough in corners to provide feedback as it reached the limits of adhesion, rotated willingly, and kicked the tail out on the few occasions when we hit the throttle in the middle of a turn. The brakes also held up well despite the punishment. While we couldn't feel the F Sport's rear steering or the RC F's torque vectoring at work, these features almost certainly helped these cars rotate through turns better than normal physics would allow. They are, after all, a little porky for the class (the RC F weighs in at 3958 pounds while the M4 weighs just 3530 pounds), but they feel much lighter.
