Mario Spitzner, CEO of Wiesmann Sports Cars GmbH, announced a new product development and supply contract with BMW that is past the pre-development phase. "Signing this contract with our preferred partner BMW is a milestone for Wiesmann Sports Cars." said Spitzner. "In the pre-development phase, which has now been concluded, we worked together extremely well and we are delighted to be able to collaborate with our reliable top partner BMW Group." Wiesmann will borrow the 4.4-liter twin-turbo S63 V8 from the new F90 M5. This engine produces 600 horsepower and 553 lb-ft of torque in the current M5.
